How It Works
A reversed, mutual authentication flow — the user proves the system is genuine before approving, all in under three seconds.

A one-time code appears
A unique 6-digit code is generated on the genuine login screen for this session only.
Match & approve on your phone
The same code is pushed to the registered smartphone. The user checks it matches, then approves with a fingerprint, face or PIN.
Session created
A cryptographically verified session is established — without ever transmitting a password or reusable secret.
Built on the ITU-T X.1280 mutual out-of-band authentication standard. Because the user verifies the system before approving, phishing, pharming and man-in-the-middle attacks are defeated at the protocol level.
Why id3 Passwordless
Other passwordless methods reduce friction but leave gaps. Mutual authentication closes them.
vs. Passwords & OTP / SMS
Nothing secret is typed, stored or sent — so there is no password to breach and no one-time code to intercept and replay.
vs. FIDO / Passkeys
No per-device enrollment or device-bound credentials to manage. One registered phone secures logins across every device and browser.
vs. Push authenticator apps
Plain push prompts can be approved blindly ("MFA fatigue"). Here the user must match a code, verifying the request is genuine before approving.
vs. PKI certificates
No private keys stored on endpoints to be stolen or copied. The cryptographic approval is bound to the session and the registered device.
